Framed Art

Framed art is available in many levels of quality. Many artists have strong feelings about the use of frames. From a design perspective, a frame can enhance specific colors within an image. This can be useful to tie it in with the décor of a room.

Some people feel that framed art, like all art, should emphasize the work rather than its presentation. This means that the frame should be as passive an element as possible. For this reason, it is very common to see art within a contemporary gallery making use of a plain black frame.

Regardless of one's views of the idea focus of framed art, many people appreciate quality in the framing process. This means that the frame should provide firm and stable support. As part of this, it should be created from a material which will not easily warp or bend.
