Art Prints

Art prints come in several different forms. Most commonly, they may be recreations of famous paintings. These range in their level of quality as well as their price. For instance, some may be printed on canvas with textural elements added. Others may be simple prints on small, bookmark-sized cardstock.

Plenty of art prints are created by less known artists. This can be a simple way for artists to share their work with a variety of people without losing the original piece. These may be part sold as part of a limited edition, which would bring up their cost.

Art prints may also be hand created through printmaking techniques. These include screen print, etching, and woodcut methods. These pieces operate as the actual original editions. The skill required in creating beautiful prints will often affect their price.
